Polish Valuers Prepare For Revolution!
In 2000 and 2001 Sheffield Hallam University in conjunction with Warsaw
University of Technology ran diploma/masters degree studies in property
valuation and management. The studies were accredited by The Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the 30 graduates from those first
two cohorts were soon on their way to securing the priviledge of adding
the letters MRICS to their names. Today they all occupy senior positions
in the Polish real estate sector.
After a 2 year absence, Sheffield Hallam University will restart the RICS
accredited masters degree course in May 2004. The cost of the part time 2
semester studies is GBP 2950 and students must have completed a Polish
postgraduate diploma in valuation to qualify for enrollment.
